I am sorry to say that in this community and I really am a Microsoft fan in so many ways, but that is the painful truth. Microsoft is way behind (as in windows phone) compared to unix/ Linux in I really want to enjoy a true Myanmar Unicode and see our language on search indexes.Īt least, the android (4.4.2) I am using on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is showing Myanmar font correctly and nicely in either true Unicode or Zawgyi, with which I can both read and write.

Nevertheless, I acknowledge that ZawGyi is not the true Unicode and you people are not supporting. I, however, can still browse and read/ write Myanmar in web (e.g facebook) using Zawgyi font. Of course, I still have problem with reading and writing when I set the language to Myanmar. However, I found a disappointing message " display language isn't available" even after I added Myanmar (Burmese) language. I am glad once I heard Microsoft windows support our language, Myanmar/ Burmese and now using windows 8.1 64-bit.
